whitney {a senior session}

7 11 2008

My fingers are still warming up from my senior session today with Whitney…I’m sure she is still trying to warm up everywhere!  Knowing that the available days are numbered, we choose to go forward with our shoot and even though the winds were blowing and the goosebumps were showing, Whitney totally worked it out in front of the camera.  I was super excited that Whitney was the first to use my new zebra print chair!  Yowza!  She was so cute and very sweet.  It was a great time even if it was cold.  Whitney and Marsha, thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing Thrive for your senior pictures.  I am so thankful.

e&m {sister sister session}

6 11 2008

I had the chance to take a couple special pictures of e&m for a gift to send to their grandmother.  It was a quick session, but as you can see: lots of F-U-N!  I don’t know why I kept cracking them up.  They said it was something about my comments as I was shooting.  I do get a little excited!!  I love these girls and could have spent hours taking their pictures.

courtney {a senior session}

Wow!  That’s almost an understatement.  This senior, Courtney, was so much fun to shoot and so gorgeous and photogenic.  I love her hair and it looked incredible in the warm November sunshine.  This may have been the most perfect of all days for fall pictures, such beautiful red, orange and yellow leaves still on some trees and laying on the ground with just enough wind to have some floating down during shots.   I just love what I do!  Today was such a delight and I am so thankful for clients like Courtney.  Thanks Courtney!

alix {a senior session}

3 11 2008

I first met Alix when she was with her BF Nikayla on her senior photo shoot back in September, which was a lot of fun.  It was great to come out to Alix’s house and really capture photos that tell you who Alix really is.  These pictures aren’t like anyone else’s.  They are unique and special, just like she is.  That’s what you get with Thrive; uniqueness, creativity and special portraits.  We had to reschedule Alix’s original shoot because of ferocious wind, but yesterday was just wonderful weather.    Thanks so much Alix!  It was a great day.
